At CP Future, we know that mis and disinformation is creating obstacles for voter accessibility, understanding electoral politics and ultimately, undermining our democracy. We are facing an assault upon voting that deeply impacts communities of color, immigrants, those with disabilities, and impoverished folks that is quickly normalized and even codified by those in power. We must do all we can, as an organization and community, to fight back. Our Fair Media Campaign aims to educate communities on the dangers of mis/disinformation and equip next generation leaders to combat it, whether it’s at home, on campus or online. Deplatforming harmful and misleading narratives helps amplify the voice of the people, hold elected officials accountable and pass legislation that benefits the many and not the few.

The 2022 Midterms showed us that the battle is not over. We are fully engaged, ready to do what we can to protect the vote by combatting mis/disinformation as well as educating and equipping our communities. We hope you will join us in our Fair Media Campaign.
